NASSA Registered Light Grey Katmoget Shetland Fleece
From Julio, the son of Else and the first lamb to be born on our farm. When we purchased Else no one knew she was pregnant. One morning in July I looked out the window to see Else in the shelter with a little bouncy lamb. He was a July surprise so I named him Julio. He is a very sophisticated ram. He keeps the other boys in line and teaches the acceptable behavior of a ram on this farm. He is also very affectionate and loves a good chin scratch.
This fleece is from the 2023 spring shearing season. It is about one and a half pounds. It is unwashed and uncarded.
