From our first Shetland ewe lamb we purchased for the farm named Gracie. Her mother is Janet and her father Crescent Moon, a fine wool ram. She has grown into the role of principal guard sheep; she chases off the neighbor's cats, warns us when there is trouble, and sounds the alarm when a ewe goes into labor.
This fleece is from the 2023 spring shearing season, her very first shear. It is about one and a half pounds unwashed and uncarded.
